No quest prompt after completing "We need to cook"

Created the product at both the chemistry and cooker benches, but nothing updated afterwards. Sold, and created combinations using the product and started a new day but still nothing. I know the next quest involves the cleaning services. Do I have to reach a higher rank first, I am peddler 5 currently.
