Mouse Buttons Not Working

I just bought the game and found myself right disappointed that I couldn't do anything really because right and left mouse buttons do nothing. I use a Logitech wireless rollerball mouse; not sure if that is the issue. I hate normal computer mice because they hurt my wrist over time and, ya know, I'm trying to avoid carpel tunnel. I wanted to edit the mouse key bindings to avoid this issue, but can't.

Is anyone else having this issue and found a work around? I'd really like to play this game.

EDIT: Also tried an older mouse that's not trackball. This one had the same issues, so it's not the mouse.
