i am playing the game with some friends and we are having the same problem. We did notice that the one hosting the game did not have the problem.

Sounds like the other players are not being detected as "owning" the warehouse, because I found a rather easy way to get over the fence and when I was in there I was quite surprised that the gate would have let me out without questions. Just not back in again.
Which is exactly what your friends experience.
