Progress Lost
A few days ago, I lost power while playing the game but was able to save it right before the outage. Today, I hop on the game and my character is all white, and my saved game is gone. I am confused because my save file still exists and everything looks correct there. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, creating a new save file and copying/pasting my original save file into it, and disabling cloud sync and nothing has fixed the issue... Has anyone else experienced this? It's pretty frustrating because I was far into the game and I'm not really wanting to start over.

Is it possible the power was lost while in the middle of a save? That might corrupt part of your game file. You might be able to recover at least some aspects of your progress by creating a new file, and copying the non broken parts over. You will probably have to run through the quests again though, if quest progress matters to you. You will probably have to unlock customers again as well as that may be the thing that broke the save file.

The good thing is that beyond the first few quests, you can basically do anything your characters level would allow you to do over again, and for the most part, quest progression doesn't stop your character from continuing to advance.

Otherwise... If you do start over again, you can take the opportunity to rename your intermediary mixes differently from your final mix, for easier product management and categorisation.

I had Steam verify the integrity of the game files and nothing was flagged as corrupted...is there another way to see if part of the save file is broken?

Sorry for the late response. An integrity test wont find your save file because it's not located in the same folder the game is located in. Your save file is located at:

C:\Users\<logon name>\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves

You would have to look at the individual files and see if any of them have data that is invalid, or corrupted. It may not be obvious. You can try starting a new file, just to get a look at what a good save would look like and compare. Again, perhaps you can copy good data over to the new save or vise versa. I don't think I can help you any more than that.
