Lost Game Savce

I was playing today when the new updated came out and saved my game after it did, i saved my game multiple times when i was playing today. Yet i when i reboot steam asked me cloud or local and idk which one. So i chose cloud only to lose all my progress. Makes me not want to play again considering i had made lots of progress
