Other Player Not Loading

not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue. i have a save file my friend and i have been playing on for quite some time, and they keep getting stuck on the loading screen. for them, it says "loading player" and it doesn't ever actually load them in. we sat for at least 7 minutes waiting to load in and no luck. there is quite a bit going on in this save file, multiple cars, all properties unlocked, workers, etc, but we're just now encountering this issue. i do understand this game is being actively developed, so obviously i'm not angry, just curious if anyone has encountered this problem. and if so, how it was fixed or if it was ever fixed. thanks!
EDIT: Forgot to mention, we tested it on another save file and they did load without issue, which has me questioning whether or not it's a separate save file issue or not

had this happen yesterday out of the blue. We closed our game, host ran a "verify files" from Steam, restarted game, worked. May have been a hiccup and simple coincidence, nothing I'd put out there as a fix or issue yet, but I wanted to say: yup, did happen and I will keep an eye out if it hapens again.

Also with inviting my friend it sometimes works better if I load into the game first, give it a few seconds and then pull him in via the friends menu and "invite to game". Usually we form the group while on the title screen with the top right +.

The only thing that worked for us was the Host going into settings and selecting the "commands" option (Google, if needed). There is a command for "cleartrash". Once I enter this we can play together. I dont know why.

had the same issues on the weekend. 2nd Player was not "spawning" - we will try the solutions provided. @dev - maybe you can have a look at this issue ;-) thx in advance
