One other thing to mention if a chemist discovers a new mix, you have to manually select the mixer to set the name. So only try to automate known mixes.
currently, you will need 5 machines and two chemists. I would suggest 4 mixing ingredients for simplicity's sake.
Here's a setup that will work for 4, brown squares are storage shelves, black squares are mixing machines mk2, blue arrows are assignments you need to make on a handler, yellow arrows are assignment you need to make a chemist, gray arrows are assignments you need to make in the machines themselves. This setup will cost you one chemist, and one handler:

Each handler can handle 5 tasks, each chemist can handle 4, so with this setup, they are at 100% of what they can do.
