NPC mixing
How can i get this chemist to do mixing of the weeds?

I assigned him the station, gave him a bed paid him but he just stands outside there is no other options to assign him to mix from shelving or routes like the packer has?

There needs to be product there to mix, and you'll need to set up a handler to automate adding mixed in component (stuff you buy from the Gas Mart). Also make sure you configure the mixer to have a destination to move the completed product off (the chemist will do that part).

One other thing to mention if a chemist discovers a new mix, you have to manually select the mixer to set the name. So only try to automate known mixes.

ok so i got the mixer mk2 but if my mix has 5 different ingredients (gas mart stuff) how can i automate this to add all ingredients in order they need to be & have the chemist using the new strain of weed after every mix?

currently, you will need 5 machines and two chemists. I would suggest 4 mixing ingredients for simplicity's sake.

Here's a setup that will work for 4, brown squares are storage shelves, black squares are mixing machines mk2, blue arrows are assignments you need to make on a handler, yellow arrows are assignment you need to make a chemist, gray arrows are assignments you need to make in the machines themselves. This setup will cost you one chemist, and one handler:

Each handler can handle 5 tasks, each chemist can handle 4, so with this setup, they are at 100% of what they can do.

Yes would be better if the chemist had routes & a option to select which mix you want to make from a list of discovered mixes from like the products tab.
