Yeah unfortunately it seems like Mick is bugged out for me too! just bought the game and started it so seeing that hes bugged out sucks.

You need to go into your Steam library. Right Click Schedule 1 -> Properties -> Beta -> Turn it on

Fixing the “Mick Missing” Bug
Sometimes, pawn shop guy not there, pawn shop not working, it's empty, you’ll stroll into the Pawn Shop at 3:50 PM—well within open hours—and Mick’s nowhere to be found. This glitch, reported across X and Steam, often ties to Mick moonlighting as a dealer. Here’s how to fix it:

Check Dealers: Open your phone, go to the Dealers menu, and find Mick Lubbin. If he’s listed, remove him by clicking the X next to his name.
Clear Products: Ensure no products (like Thick McLoin) are listed for sale in the Product Manager.
Sleep It Off: Head to your bed, sleep until the next day, and return to the Pawn Shop. Mick should be back.
Verify Files: If he’s still AWOL, verify game files on Steam to fix potential bugs (Library > Schedule 1 > Properties > Installed Files > Verify).
This bug, tied to the v0.3.4 beta branch, should fade as updates roll out globally.

A temp fix I've found is to sleep, then once you see the "game saved" in the upper right hand corner upon waking up -> alt+F4. Then once you're back in the game, run over and Mick should be there. Game has been very buggy since last update though so I've had to do this quite a few times.

delete the mick folder from ur schedule 1 save file and it'll fix it

what I do is, every time my character wakes up
I buy my bars and save at the motel. If Mick is alr there, proceed normally. If he isn't just quit to main menu and reload. No need to close the entire game.
