How do you guys sell custom stuff?
The customers just contact me via text message. I've seen clips where people sell their custom strains for like 200$ each because they have stats that the customer wants (explosive, thunder, etc), but I can't do this because the customers just text me, and if I sell them something else, then the deal is off.
How would I be able to sell the custom strains to customers? Find them on the map somehow before their text?

Have you tried.... TALKING TO THEM? lol

Edit: If they do not currently have a deal going, or recently completed one, you can offer to make them a deal. You can then offer anything you want.

Edit 2: Also, you can list the Mixes for sale in the app, too... If they simply aren't wanting to buy it yet then you either need to just wait until they do or get them hooked/addicted in a different way (offering, giving free sample, setting them up with a dealer who has it in inventory, etc).
You can increase the chances they will buy certain products from you by limiting the number of items you have listed for sale in the app. Have only 1 or 2 items for sale and they will always buy one of those.

Their preferences are listed when you either talk to them or give them a free sample
Did you list the product for sale?
you can change the price of items in the products app i recommend the drug to have 100% addictiveness that why they are likely to buy more no matter the cost

I did! But whenever I recently completed a deal, I cannot sell; it says "recently completed a deal," obviously.

I guess my question can be reframed as "how do you find them on the map because I cannot find them for the life of me, and the contacts book doesn't have the "find on map" option for customers, only dealers"

I did, but got no requests; if you're talking about listing the mix.
I guess I can list the mix only and not the base drug?

You talk to them and make an offer, you place it and choose price. it gives you a success % chance before you deal.

I know this in theory; but in practice, how do I find them?

Are you trying to find specific NPCs? If so, dunno.... they might be at their house, otherwise who knows?

Currently you are correct about there being no map feature for finding specific NPCs once they have already become your customers, at the moment. You'll just have to look around for them, get to know their routes, or find their homes.

In any case, just talk to random people on the street to make deals. If they are already one of your customers and don't need a sample, and have not had a deal recently, then you can offer deals to them.

Edit: Also, you can talk to these NPCs again later if they couldn't accept a deal earlier. Once enough in-game time has passed they can be offered deals again.

Dang, that sucks that there's no map feature. I guess I'll have to stalk my customers now whenever I make a deal with them.

Find their homes or places of work, a lot of the doors on random buildings you can knock on, and anyone inside is listed for you to choose who you want to meet with. Mick works the Pawn shop, Ludwig works at the Pizzaria, Ms Chen the chinese restaurant (obviously), Meg (day shift) and Charles (Night shift) both work Gas Mart westville, Philip works at the Casino, Jeff slings skateboards. Geraldine appears to live at the North Waterfront warehouse. Peter lives at the motel room #3 or #4, and i think Jessi lives in the one he doesnt.

Takes some time, but, eventually you learn where the people are, what their daily routines are, where they hang out, their walking routes and what time of day they are out. Hand slinging helps learn it as well as you can get to meets early and watch where they come from. 8 times out of 10, they always take the same path to a deal.

don't focus too much on individual prices of substances, focus on making product and selling as much as you can, it makes no difference if you sell for more per unit, customers will buy more product if you sell cheaper (they have spending limits/day, depending on who), and it's very easy to outproduce like... any kind of sales you might be having, whether you sell expensive or cheap stuff ^^
