Not entirely confirmed on this since I'm not using dealers in my co-op run, but I believe dealers will break down bricks into jars, and than jars to baggies. So if you are supplying them with bricks, they need at least 2 free inventory spaces.
Yes I'm sure because I have stopped listing stuff a long time ago...
Unfortunately I have to assume by now that they sell at base price.
The price you are putting into your phone is just what you're listing the product for sale at if they call you to schedule a meet up. The only drugs you need to toggle here for sale are the ones you on you or in your storage for sale, not what your dealers have.
Additionally, one more thing to keep in mind is that you can actually over charge through your phone and make sales to npcs who usually don't have enough to buy. You can do this by manually setting the drug price anywhere up to about 1.5-1.75x the original value. So if you have a hit of coke worth a listed value of 500$ in your product section, you can set the price to about 850-875 a unit. And even usually broke npcs, like say Keith in the apartments who can barely afford 500$ a hit, will offer usually over that amount. I myself have a blend of coke worth about 650 a hit that I sell for about 970 and Keith, who can usually barely afford $500 meth, is willing to pay usually upwards of 1025-1050 a hit.
Another trick you should know is about the Late Night Curfew bonus. All sales made during the final time quadrant of the day (during curfew) gets you a nice bonus on top of your sale. And with the timer pausing at 4am you don't have to worry about losing out on sales if you queue up 10 or 20 buyers that night.
Customers will only request stuff that is marked to sell. If nothing is marked, they will simply not ask for anything.
That said, in such a case you need to run around yourself to find those people if you want to keep selling, which can be done but is usually way more time intensive (and furthermore many people aren't running around at late night, so you might miss out on a lot of curfew bonuses).
Something you can do is to put the customers with least money on the dealers, so that they don't keep asking you anymore.
i am pretty sure dealers were not selling while i put sale price too high.. i need to check it again
"Asking Price" is working for dealers too, so you are wrong that dealers sell at base price.
I have tested this for several in-game days.
"List for Sale?" IS IGNORED by dealers and they still sell at asking price nonetheless.
When I set "Asking Price" to lower value dealers started to sell stuff instantly.
So unchecking "List for Sale?" prevents phone spam.
For me unchecking "List for Sale?" along with removing broke customers from dealers was the solution.
hopefully this helps someone
Edit: Oh, you already figured that out mb.
for asking price of 120, 3 dealers got this cash per item
124.6
120.8
129.8
so they sell it 120+20%+(0...10)? = 144...154 , some random stuff is there, very interesting mechanics by developer
regards
This misinformation needs to stop being spread. They have not, and have never needed "space in their inventory" to break down bricks and jars. Clear their inventory completely and give them a jar in each slot. Watch them go to a deal and check the dealer app before and after and you'll see them sell in random amounts. You can even check their inventory to them breaking the jars down as they sell odd amounts.
There's even an ingame tip on the loading screen saying they break things down on their own and their inventory slots don't affect how they sell.
