Is mixing worth it
I haven't really bothered mixing that much, I just unlocked coke. I have meth and weed pretty much automated besides the buying base materials. I feel that the time, space and assigning workers isn't really worth it over mass producing. Especially since you need to mix a substance around 4 to 5 times to get it to be really good value and the amount of mixing stations it would take to automate it and having to repeatably buy the mixers.

it isnt necessary, but it is beneficial

It depends. Essentially mixing is just a multiplier, but theoretically you can sell either tiny mixes with a couple ingredients or just straight produce and sell without mixing. Mixing is kinda OP right now though, especially when you find a good coke mix and set the price at $999 in the app since you'll get orders all the way up into the $1,200/g range fairly often. So it all basically boils down to how much money you want to make at once, how fast you want to progress through the game, etc, and whether the cost is worth the reward to you.

And some of the benefits you yourself can get from mixing like extra speed, extra jump height, and more are worth it IMO. Plus some of the effects are just straight up hilarious, like mixing two donuts (save first if you try that one though).

If you automate it, and just replenish every few days, mixing meth and giving it to dealers will rake in extra cash, also is you price it right (1.6x recommended).

For myself though, I only slang coca in-person, and have stopped weed production.
I am manually mixing meth one time at the bungalow and have the barn setup to mix 8 times all automated. It takes a long time but gives 8x time profit. I've just purchased the warehouse so now deciding if I should setup the barn to just grow and dry out the cocoa leaves and manually transfer everything to the warehouse for mixing and packaging. That way I can grow more and have everything automated except for me manually transferring it across town.

Then I might have more product and can cut out the weed and meth. (I can cut out the weed already but I just put it in jars to keep my dealers stocked up).
Mixing takes time, and then in turn gives you more profit, up to you to decide if it's worth it either way this is so sandboxy you're making money. I tend to make 8 effect custom drugs to sell personally as I like to see the effects and they are worth a lot more, and as the direct seller no one is taking a commission.

Also, mixing drugs is for YOU too! Get a stash of anything that gives you no-gravity, athletic and sneaky. Cannabis version is the weakest but fastest and cheapest to make, (doesn't last as long or is as powerful a buff than stronger version drugs). The game lets you be as meta as you want for money, sure you'll make more if you meta it but if you just want to chill and watch the funny things the effects do, you can do that too, and switch back and forth.
Granddaddy purple

Laxative, Seizure-Inducing, Toxic, Sedating, Anti-Gravity, Balding, Foggy, Sneaky

You can try to convince me it's not worth it.

You don't know how much of this game you're missing out.

An 8 mix worth 95$ and cost 36 to make.. waste of time.

OG Kush: Viagra, Cuke, Mega Bean = $100 and only cost 13 to make.

Unless you are boasting about the effects.. which I just use.

OG Kush: Mouth Wash, Paracetamol, Energy Drink = Anti-Grav, Balding, Sneaky, Althletic. All you'll evewr need to run around like a mad man.
i just mix to get new customers, after u get em, u can just sell em whatever u want on the product app

I've started doing this, except for weed, I use an OG kush 4 mixer that isn't so high priced it's not selling fast enough for my liking.

I've noticed I'm selling way more base meth and base coke than I've ever sold mixed.

Definitely try this.

But I'd go a step farther.

Don't look up what it does, don't read the effects, just make a batch, bag it up, give it to a dealer and wait.

Honestly I've seen that people say that it's not necessarily worth it unless you're trying to gain new customers, but I enjoy it because I like naming strains and coming up with new mixes.

My main two that I sell so far (don't have coca unlocked yet) are both 6 set mixes that bump the rock from default 70 iirc to 242 flat, which is nice, and the 40something OG up to 100+. Plus the effects make the customers easy to know when to top them up cause they look normal when not high lol

This is my layout on my second play through. First playthrough I did 8mix EVERYTHING!!! I tested multiple mixes and setups and it for me made the game boring. And now I only do special mixes to get the customers( I know I don’t have to but thats how I have fun with the mixing and I needed something to do the in sweatshop) I mix a personal blend for what the customer wants just to get them and than after that I sell them what I make! Just makes the game more fun and less grindy, especially since we’re still 2/3years from 1.0 release.

And the bungalow is my house, got it all setup and decked out right now lol

min max it doesnt make sense to do complicated mix its not 'worthed'
the money is one thing, but more important, the fact you need to manually intervene to order ngredients and keep them stocked , makes mixing a chore-like commitment.

that being said i mix everything all the time, i have dozens of recipes , the effects are hilarious, nothing beats rollin around on my skateboard watching the population of thetown detoriate into pure chaos. i stock up my dealers with seizure inducing or electrified or zombified mixes , my weed strain Z-rising , has been a solid classic all the way. it sells at 500 - 1k for a jar and everyone turns into a zombie.
now i'm flooding the market with bricks of seizure inducing thought provoking electrified bomber coke, dropping customers in a extatic bliss on the ground.

it keeps the game interesting and fresh at all times. i often settle for 4 mix recipes i can alternate just by mixing up the supply racks i have set up at factory entrance. a 4 mix setup can be managed by a single handler and a chemist.

z-rising : purpleweed->horsejuice->addy->battery->battery
C : c->batt->addy->semen->batt->addy->semen----->IODINE ( iodine 'cracks open' this recipe)

i mean, the way that mixing works its very interesting and it ties into the gameplay in many subtle ways. overtime as this game matures, there will be more incentive to use it i guess. now the game is far too easy. you get away with everything.

the game is only partly about money i guess. its sandboxy enough to set your own goals besides cash.

How do you guys mix several things at the same time ?

They don't. They are talking about the order. So you mix green crack with something and take that result and mix it with the next ingredient, etc.
