Pause multiplayer game?!
but how? we never get to have a break here. Any way to fix this?

You can't pause multiplayer, I don't know where you got that idea from. The only way to stop playing multiplayer is by actually closing the world after everyone that's not the host leaves, Never heard of a game where you can pause the multiplayer especially in a game like this.

Several games, like Saints Row, allow you to pause; But it pauses the other players too and only the player whom originally paused can unpause.

yep, stardew valley does it the same way. You can have a break at night. Its not going any further than 4 am so theres time for afk or whatever and start the new day when break is over.

There's no reason to force everyone else to stop what they're doing while you go poop. The game is designed around single player. Even if you have just one other person playing with you, they can handle it until you get back.
