Automatic Water/Dirt Worth?
I'm pretty late in the current game and cant tell if these 2 items are worth having in my setups if i have workers working the crops. If i could save space and be just as effective that would be nice. Do you guys use these in your automated setups?

Bonus points if you know how to make gold walter white product. i know the drying racks are used for the other two but cant figure out the walter.

I believe workers don't use them, so as far as that's concerned, the answer would be no.

If they're worth it for stuff you do manually... debatable.
I'm just getting started in the automation, and I've found that the Auto Water/Dirt tools become useless once you get employees. They are mostly useful if you are doing the work yourself it seems.
They are purely for player use, employees won't use them. However the watering sprinklers are amazing if you are doing a no employee grow operation.

Yes, that's why they're cheap; For early game only, IMO.

Plants stop growing at 4am. You can only fit in so many rotations per day. These items speed up the time it takes to fill and water an entire grow room. You still have to take the time to plant them though, and workers don't use them.

In automated setups you don't use them, workers wont use them anyway. For manual i would say only water is useful. If That dirt had multiple slots like 4 or something, then i would say it would be useful but not like it is now.

And for better growth buy your own pots those yellow that increase speed and lights and so on, don't use that premade thing.

I was wondering the same thing. Floor space is precious pre-bungalow so I got into the habit of skipping them. They cost money and are an aesthetic nuisance on top of that.

the dirt filler is useful in cutting the speed because when you would have to input the bag yourself the auto filler itself just takes being filled and then activated.

if you run along and fill all of them first, then activate them at the same time you do the sprinklers, it will water it at the same time priming it for seeds, which will save you an immense amount of time you would have spent first pouring soil yourself, then hitting the sprinklers after doing so.

it's even faster with coop.
