ok
Cream will always rise to the top, no matter how small the droplet.
Everyone talking about Schedule I's success but Valheim did this a few years back. There is a big shift coming in the video game industry. Gamers with money right now are those who gamed in the 90s and early 2000s where games didn't cater to a specific substrata of the population. The game was made with one goal and one goal only. Be fun. Yeah, some missed the mark but a lot went on to become great franchises. Warcraft, Diablo, Doom, Wolfenstein... Then... investors happened... Publicly traded game dev companies and... loud minorities who cancelled the majority through unethical use of social media and voilà.

Here we are. Going back to the roots, tiny independant game studios that make games meant to be FUN, not to pass a message or teach you stuff outside how to make a fire, drive a car, build a house or snort a line of powdered battery acid off a dead hooker's backside.

The problem isnt the AAA studios making bad products. Bad products are made in every industry everyday. The problem is the consumer base buying any slop corporations put out. Yet those same people wouldnt buy spoiled milk because they would check the price tag. Gamers are in general cause this issue by preordering trash. Vote with your wallet. Its the only way to get good games back.

AAA needs to learn how to rip off other games to succes like kyle did here. Maybe cod should start taking direct copies of bf maps in their games. Bethesda should start ripping off cyberpunk for better gameplay etc. I dont get why aaa devs are not just stealing ideas from other games to success
