Do the names of mixtures change in other saves?

I was playing in singleplayer mode and I saw videos of people and I couldn't reproduce the same recipes in multiplayer mode... Is it a bug, or is that really how it should be?

im not sure if this helps at all. I hope it does. I would try reinstalling the game, using a seperate save for a different character and playthrough(you can have multiple characters if you use saves right) and then when you do have a new playthrough, try each individual strain with each individual mix ingredient first, and then once you have discovered all the basic ones, start exploring. also. once you do make a strain, you have the option to name each one. i prefer quite lewd names, usually to do with smurfs or ewoks, and some latex and whips, but you can name yours whatever you would like, or even just roll for a random name, right next to the text box. i sincerely hope this information helps. and im completely sorry if it doesnt. but regardless. i hope you find what youre looking for, have fun doing it, and enjoy youre time thoroughly.

The mixture names are randomized and you can even custom name them.
