i bought the game already and i installed it as i was playing other games so it wil be ready to go when i finish playing other games.
Wow so you had a smooth 90 hour playthrough? thats neat. I appreciate your reply, im still scared to play it haha, i realllyyyy dont want my stuff to disappear due to a save file loss
don't mess with mods or the console commands and im willing to bet you won't have half the issues a lot of other people are having as i say, i've only experienced the cauldron bug so far, but that can be soft fixed by closing game and re-opening, i think it's an issue with the chemist worker you can hire more than the actual cauldron though :)
If you are unsure, wait a few months, The dev said he is currently working on the bug most people here are having trouble with. Working on the employee pathing and making sure its stable, so its good to wait if you got the patience.
idk man, I wish I could say what you avoid or what factors promise you a Good Time to the very end. I am basically done with the game at this point and I have totally enjoyed it, too... so, yeah, right? It is really absorbing but maybe my mistakes were
1) Letting it be 4am Forever and Ever, counting endless Meth, renaming it funny stuff like Mistuh Sparkle and changing the prices of every single entry by +$120 (for meth). Maybe changing all the prices makes the save file heavier or something.
2) Ultimately that's the weird disappointment of lost imaginary progress in a game that simulates tasks and work into gameplay. You don't want to lose the fact that you ran 3 loads of groceries back and forth with the van you bought, let alone having to rename and reprice all the drugs and rediscover the mixtures.
However, with mindful updates both of them are very easily fixed or addressable like a simple spreadsheet table where I can x = +$120 for everything, or RNG that expands the Random Name Table to make it so I don't feel the need to be original to make myself laugh.
But it is a fun game and I think thoroughly worth $20 to experience what I've already played if nothing else. And it's more of a New Game Alpha project with that type of potential to keep growing and change over time. Like, I wish I could check out walking inside the pawn shop that was just a brick you could knock on. There's plenty of potential here for value + $20. The fact that I'm here talking too much and wishing my game worked says that it's a good game. His next update promises to hammer out the performance issues some of us are having.
Fingers Crossed. If you want to try it out, I probably would; I have had fun so far up til now. And you can always play something or just do something else until the dev gets it handled (hopefully). Personally, I want the fix to happen so I can gloat about how long Fallout 4 has been unfixed by comparison. AAA studios v. 1 man.
How are you unable to play it? The game works fine for me, and a lot of people didnt have any problems after the update.
I am a bit scared to lose my save file, i hope i wont.
