it does you have to give them the customers that are close to them
No you don't. Dealers will travel all over the map and sell to whoever you give them.

As for giving certain drugs to certain dealers which you quoted, I tested this recently.

All 5 of my dealers were given 75 x 8 mix heavenly coke at the same time (or as close as possible), listed at the maximum of $999. All 5 dealers finished selling within a day of each other, regardless of where the customer lives.

List of sales in the order they finished.

Molly : $77,317
Wei : $78,638
Jane : $80, 485
Brad : $75,671
Benjii : $72,058

Originally I thought there was a 'location' benefit but Molly's sales negate that theory. At this stage it seems it doesn't matter what, or who, or where sales are made.

Is this a valid test though as you may have a different mix to others? What I mean is isn’t it the logical case that if you have a drug that has abc effects and that somewhat matches customers preferences.. that you’ll sell more to said customer(s)? Else it may just be a default rng trickle?

Exact same mix for all 5 dealers. I even used a precursor period of 50 of the same product to remove any chance of 'residual' preferences/addiction levels, if such a thing existed.

I couldn't even get a locations preference which I expected. Like I said, next time I play I'll test with the 6th dealer and very specific high paying client list and see what I get.

Heavenly Coke with 8 mix is the only thing I do at this stage, $2.5m into the game. Rich and poor alike, irrespective of preferences, all spend about the same for the same product and at the same rate.

Hang on hang on. That's 70,000 in one day? Or 70,000 when inventory was empty ? Do you know your daily profit per dealer? And would there be a difference if you gave them multiple products ? I'm trying to maximize my dealer profits at end game, based on daily profit. I feel like Molly's numbers look much lower than some of my others. I'm wondering if balancing the customers around will just lower another dealers profits.

Or is there a perfect customer setup that guarantees they make the most money ?
I'm at kingpin 3 and make about 65k a day, from dealers + all phone calls I do. Dealers are pulling in an average of 45k I do the test without doing any extra sales. If I add in knocking at doors and stopping at gas stations during deliveries, I can get it much higher. But I'm looking for effortless, restock shelves and make quick run, Max profit setup.

He said he made that with the full 75 on each dealer, pretty sure it wasn't in one day.
You don't need to try hard with dealers, they'll sell whatever. I don't think they're even affected in any kind of way beyond customer weekly spending limits, if at all.
Something that may affect this is if he has more days in than you, customer spending limits would be higher.

I see a different amount of revenue from the dealers when collecting daily. I'm going to shuffle customers around to see if I can get an increase in total $ from them in one day by reloading the save and checking. The theory was that with multiple products, they could hit the max the customer was willing to spend. For example if you have something that sells for 1000 and customer has 1500, you lose 500 by not having a cheaper product available, I don't believe they ever buy 2 separate products in one transaction. I'm hoping the guy with 1500 would rather buy 5 meth vs 1 coke. I've been running 3 different products for 50, 300 and 750. It's minimal effort from a docks setup. With weed bricks and a 6x mixer for the other 2. I'm concerned I lose money from them having the cheaper alternatives sometimes. Still trying to test a few more things. I want to test all one product. Sales with a 8x coke only. Sales with weed only. Sales with meth only. And a few different rotations on customers. I'm a little anal, don't try hard doesn't fit my description of casual game.
Geraldine Poon usually buys more and not only that but he ALWAYS spends 200+ over asking price, some NPCs only ever low ball and will never offer more regardless of the mix and what I'm selling.
anyone having an issue with wei long just smoking product and not making any money??? is it a skill issue?

Just assign them closest to their house outside of the high rollers list.

This list doesnt include Leo. Should I not be assigning customers to Leo as the rest have budgets i would rather sell to?

Because the's a high roller from the early game
I have a spreadsheet with every customer with their neighborhood, min and max spend, drug preferences, quality expectations, etc. So I just sort that by the customer's max spend (lowest to highest), and then go down the list giving all my dealers the poorest customers, since I hate running across town to just deliver one bag of Kush.

Once I got to late game, and didn't feel like dealing myself at all, I sorted it by customer max spend (highest to lowest), and then just went down the list giving the richest customers to my dealers. So now they rake in tons of money just dealing to the rich folks. And since I don't have anything listed for sell, the 16 or so poorest people just don't get drugs, and I still make a ton of money doing nothing.

If you want to use the spreadsheet, it's here:
