Fps drops once getting further in game
Ive spent 25 hours on this game so far n noticed the further i get the fps drops every now n then. Is this normal and happening with everyone else? Im even doing the ‘cleartrash’ cheat as it helps a little bit. My pc specs are ‘rtx 4060, i5 12400f, 16gb ram’.

Im in with an 14900k and a RTX 5080, 64GB RAM and got the same issue! Yesterday i´ve started a new Game, smooth like butter. The further we get, the problem will come again.

I meant I only suggest the three for starters but also I gave you 10 more in case you can handle the first three, for eg. disabling core parking is difficult thing to understand for some at first

Mate im not being funny you sound like a pc expert but i aint doing none of that are you crazy😂😂no ones ever mentioned this in any discussion in any game, aint gonna start changing stuff i dont no what im doing just cuz 1 person says.

Ya I wouldn't do all that, it doesn't even help that much anyway. Better to just use Process lasso and one click & done then all that.

Besides that the problem is the game, You can disable vsync to fix frame "pacing" but not the FPS. FPS will be bad no matter what (Compared to your normal) once you start hiring employees. Trash has very little to do with it (But helps... not much)
Thanks for the short n simple explanation mate. Sorry for the spam the other wouldnt send apparently.

I'm on a potato with high graphic settings, (not ultra) and I full on automated the barn for weed (including cleaners so no trash buildup) and it makes 10-12 bricks a day (could fit in one more bed, one more herbalist/whatever they're called, and 8 more growth related items and another shelf for supplies so even more)

My bungalow is full on 10+ "crystal" bricks a day (I adulterate them for affects in 20 bulk mixer runs, then reconstitute the brick but if I need quick cash/product I give the bricks to my traffickers clean)

My warehouse is my full on "booger sugar" Operation. I am running into bugs with my chemists not using 4 cauldrons I set up, but I reduced it to 2 and focused on stacking gold quality leaves in them. I still need two chemists because 5 related stations but I gave one three stations and the other two)

My warehouse operation has been "slow going" game mechanics wise but performatively everything been fine still.

How many hours you into the game?
I am 100 hours into it myself with both the barn and the warehouse running 8 chain mixes fully automated packing bricks of coke for me while the bungalow is fully automated pumping gout premium weed with no mix, two packagers packing it into bags and I have about 2 mil now and its been smooth as butter the entire time but i keep all the floors clean with cleaners and make sure no employees are bugged out ever and I skate around at max speed on golden skate board flying around super fast and no problem at all so far.

Would you still recommend hiring a cleaner even if i use the ‘cleartrash’ cheat or is there no point?

Thats why I gave you the documentation so you can learn how your machine works and so you have more agency over problems if you have more control on your end if you dont thats fine too but its not hard to learn those few things I suggested, and try not to think it is.
Mate it wasnt a few things, u sent me a book😂😂thanks for your help but ill pass like i said if i hear this suggestion more instead just 1 person then i will follow steps but like i said ive never seen everything youve just explained to me in any discussion in any game. Im in regular contact with the pc company who i bought my pc off n they’ve never mentioned anything like that to me.
Don't buy an intel CPU next time and you won't really have to worry about such steps. e cores "efficiency cores" are a garbage design in the more recent intel cpu lines. But Ryzen has been the best performing cpu for awhile now, AMD is on top baby. But yes, what he explained are real steps people often have to do when having issues with intel cpus. Whether that is what is causing your issue or not I can't say. Also no if you are clearing trash with the command there is no point in a cleaner, if you clear all the trash with the command and you still have fps problems then trash is not your main issue.

16gb is also getting to be a lowish amount of RAM these days. check your hardware monitors while the game is running and see what is capping out, cpu, memory, gpu, it will help you narrow down your issue.

Yes absolutly hire a cleaner I have never had to rely on a cleartrash command to do it and I dont have a single item of trash at any of my facilities with jsut one trash can around 8 plants is all you need and this is the best configuration for it

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3459560986

the other stuff doesnt generate trash so its all you need per building or per 8 plants 1 cleaner might be able to handle up to 3 cans but you should make sure not to overlap the trash can areas, I think that can bug him out im not sure though.

If you keep it clean you wont have to wait till it builds up to clean it all and wont ever get anything building to slow it down ever.

Ive hit no more than 11gb on the game n trust me its got nothing to do with my pc. The game is just badly optimised

Mine got more or less unbearable too, and the NPC workers are constantly getting stuck and leaving objects impossible to interact with, which they didn't seem to do before. It's unfortunately not really playable for me anymore.
How many hours have you got too for it to make it unplayable?
about 35, but with a friend so progressing faster than i would alone
