Does killing customers kill them for good?

Pre-beta update while playing we would jokingly kill george or geraldine or whoever just to mess around. Today we killed both of them as is custom. its been two days and we havent seen either of them are we just unlucky in seeing them or are they just gone for good?

No, you can't even kill the cops walking around. They just get knocked out and are good within 24 hours.

This is honestly the first question here I can't answer. I've always just KO'd people with the bat when they attack me. Lately I carry a machete on my late night deliveries but mostly just because if cops chase me I i just get rid of them lol.

I shot peter File... he is a bad person obviously... shooting him made him call the cops--- so I beat him to "death" with the Baseball bat and then dropped him into the harbour for good measure.... according to contacs he is still a loyal customer.,,, wtf...
