How do I rotate items?

I set up the grow tent but I can't rotate the soil to put it in the pot. The game says "A and D to rotate" but neither of those buttons do anything.

Try Q E maybe. I know it's one of those.

By default, you can use A and D to rotate items when you're pouring soil, packaging, etc. Keep you mind you need to click and hold the item before you try to rotate it.

Not working for me, I'm sure I'm missing something. I pick up the full water can and while holding the LMB hit a or d and it does nothing.

you have to cut the top first to rotate the bag

I have the same problem. I cant get the water can, seeds or nutribloom to rotate anyone know what im doing wrong?

I see that, but when I press the a or the d button (or both together) it doesn't rotate

also u have to click n hold the item first before u can rotate it

Mouse click HOLD, then A D and Q
