How stable is beta?
Would like to do some more automation and the beta with cupboards and filtered slots would be amazing, but how stable is the beta actually?
Not sure when that build is hitting main branch so thinking about switching to the beta.

The stability varies patch to patch, assume it's unstable and proceed carefully.

So far it's been a couple weeks in beta per patch, keep in mind there hasn't been a long history of patches yet (still early), that's subject to change too. Depends on how the code acts.
Depends on what you call stable but some people complained about issues on the beta, especially regarding old save compatibility. I would say that it's unstable, expect bugs and such. And most importantly, if you try the beta branch : don't forget to backup your saves first !

Well sure would make a backup of save, did many betas already.
I mean with stable if it is crashing often. Or if there are many game breaking bugs that annoy you more then the game is fun to play. Ok that threshold is different for everyone but I would say if I can play an hour without an issue that is stable enough.

I know people have reported issues with employee pathfinding and save compatibility, not sure about crashing but didn't saw beta bug reports about it

The only problem I've had is a botanist sometimes getting "stuck", but saving and reloading has fixed that problem.
I've had the blackmarket warehouse reset every time I loaded a save (losing clipboard, have to go and ask the guard to let me in again, etc.). I've had vehicles delete themselves. One memorable bug had all of the npc's stuck in one spot doing the "Austin Dumpster Dance".

One time I lost ownership of the barn and warehouse docks. All my stuff was still in there, but doors wouldn't open, and when I hopped the fence into the warehouse I couldn't interact with anything.

They come, they go. That's part of playing on the beta branch.
I locked up the beta last night, I did a inventory check board on grower just as 4am notice came up. Windows froze for 45 sec then recovered.

Beta is nice though
Never experienced a crash on the regular game.

As soon as I loaded up BETA, my machine blue screened and crashes very frequently when running the beta.
