Report a translation problem
These sayings exists for a reason and perfectly fits the fake self-importance and severe victim mentality of a certain geopolitical region no matter which century they are spoken in.
I have no sympathy for this cause. This Region has had their chances. They've never used them, They never will.
The solution to your problem is the same what region always has excelled in for last 60 years: Hard Work. You have always had your "unofficial industry" to solve this very problem. And they've been rather famous for their efficiency. Have you guys forgotten what you once were? Masters of Unofficial Translations and ""other modifications"".
Oh that’s right, you can’t.
Do you know how many people have been jailed for 'likes' online in England versus Russia?
*Go look it up—you can even compare other EU countries. England locks up 4-5 times more people under these laws. So don’t even start with your criticism.
That is because even in a censorious cesspit like the UK, when people get police sent to their house because of an unapproved opinion they spoke too loudly or a joke someone found too offensive (on behalf of someone else of course), it at least gets reported, so we know how prevalent the censorship is.
In the region in question, if you speak too loudly against the government you just disappear, and people don't dare to talk about it, lest they disappear as well.
