My Botanists are stealing from me.

I'm trying to set up a small automation.
I've got 8 grow pots and 8 drying racks assigned to 2 Botanists (4 pots + 4 racks per)
I have the grow pots destination set to the drying racks.
They plant, grow and harvest the product normally, but the product doesnt go to the drying racks. They snip it and it's gone once they harvest it. I stood there and watched it happen.
Is this a bug? Am I setting it up wrong?

The only way I've been able to get it all to work is assign 1 Botanist to the grow pots and 1 Botanist to the Drying Racks.
I have to set the grow pots destination to a Storage Shelf and then assign a Handler to move the product to the drying racks.

This seems highly inefficient and a waste of a Handler.

So I had this issue, but it was not the botanist. When they were all standing outside I executed the one stealing from me in front of everyone. Then dumped his body in the trash container. His name disappeared from the bed and briefcase. I went and hired a replacement. No one has stolen from me again in 10 days so far. Sometimes, you got to set an example.

I had handlers stealing from me too...I place 20 baggies with 20 product, sometimes get 19 product...PART of the game...Keep them all paid....happens less.

But are they actually stealing or is it a bug where it doesnt move straight to the drying racks?
I watched 2 grows completely vanish after harvesting. All of it.
Thats 128 pieces.
Surely they arent stealing every single piece they harvest?

The thing is when I have it set up with the Handler moving the product nothing has vanished and it all works smoothly.
