Level of employee theft makes game unplayable (late game)
Not at final promotions... 2 drug labs, coke and weed, warehouse and barn respectively, no meth. At this stage full automation to extent possible, back and forth between 2 sites every other day to refill racks (full refill basically takes a whole day and is most time consuming part of game, can't automate ordering/additive stocking). Mass theft. Entire racks of additives gone, NO and I mean NONE, drugs produced. If you're gonna put employee theft in the game you have to create mechanics around it. Security guards, searching... something. As it stands employees can steal full shelves worth of drugs with impunity and there's no clear game mechanic to deal with it whatsoever. I'm out until fixed.. This isn't playable. Was so close to the endgame too. I know, early access, but don't but sh*t in the game that makes it not worth playing unless you fire everyone and go back to day1, zero automation gameplay.

I hit 10m today and I never automated mixing. I think that's your problem.

Produce it raw and mix it yourself until it's fixed.
Never encountered any employees stealing anything at all in my game - maybe I'm doing something wrong!!

You have to click on the emplyees and clean their inventory. It is a well known bug.
All of a sudden my botanists just despawn EVERYTHING in their supply storage. tried firing and rehiring but they still do it. Basically ruins the game as I cant be bothered planting 12 seeds AND keeping them watered and ♥♥♥♥.

i wonder if filling their inventory with worthless items will stop them from taking things. Like frankie boy above I have never had employee theft but I see it on the boards all the time.

I have never faced this problem in 150+ hours and I automate my ♥♥♥♥ as much as I can, you just have to do it intelligently :P

Make sure no two employees are dropping stuff on the same shelf/in the same slot on a mixing machine, 100% that will eventually glitch them out, now that they are glitched out, you will probably need to empty their inventory by talking to them. Also make sure they can path everywhere they need to go - that you haven't tried to "optimize" space, you don't need to anyways. Make spacious, obvious, easy to path through setups.

fully automated both Coke and Meth with 8 mix on each .. No issues with employees "stealing" , do they glitch and get stuck or stop working sometimes.. Yes, a simple relog or resetting their assignments fixes them , Kingpin level 9

I have not played the latest Update, dont care about a storage unit at this point of the game.. or a jukebox that will just sit in a corner somewhere unused
