Also, the strain system has changed since the demo, and so all of your product will be deleted when its loaded into the new save.
And then the quests are reset so you start doing all the newbie quests again.
And due to you unlocking and using characters that were required to be unlocked in the process of the quests, it bugs out. You can then edit the JSON save file and clear the quests, but its a huge pain.
If you want to try, the files are in C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I Free Sample\Saves\SaveGame_1
goes to
C:\Users\<UserName\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves\<NUMBER HASH>\SaveGame_1
The full game has the saves placed in that extra number hash folder, unlike the demo. Probably something to do with steam cloud saves or something.
yeah that's what i ended up doing after battling the bugs for a few hours.
They should put a warning on the demo that you can't continue your progress, so people don't waste time building up a mini empire in the demo
