75C is high? As long as it doesn't thermally throttle, you're fine.

Why are you trying to hold your gpu???

Sorry… bad joke but couldn’t pass it up
Dealing with same issue. Its actually been hard crashing my PC.
10850K
3080ti
32GB RAM

GPU is hitting temps no other game can reproduce and I have been playing GTA Enhanced on 3440x1440 without issue.

If you have been playing your save for a while, there is a lot of trash accumulated on the streets.

Running console command cleartrash helped me w gpu
Yeah was doing it to mine - turn off vsync, switch from ultra to high, and play in fullscreen windowed mode.
meanwhile I'm over here not even hitting 55° with a blower 1070 ti lol

Same issue here, using an 8GB 3070, the game is using 7.5GB of my vram and the gpu is running at 98%, and stuttering along at 37fps

Was there a stealth unreal engine 5 update to the game or something here? (altho tbf.. even oblivion remaster runs better than this now)
I believe this is happening to all 30 & 40 series cards. I have a 4080 and it maxes out at 100% upon loading into a world. 4k at any fps is simply unplayable now. And no it has nothing to do with trash, the same thing happens when you start a new save.. Tyler needs to stop trying to add content to make all the instant gradification kids happy and work on long term stability. ima straight stan of this game but cant justify playing it if i have to turn down settings.... i didnt spend 2k on a gpu to run a game like this on medium. right now the best thing to do is probably put the game down for a while and let tyler cook. if he insists on just forcing content into the game rather than making it playable for all people, the game will die. If he truly cares about the game and wants it to have a long healthly life - this will most likely be fixed by the next update & considering hes been pushing out roughtly an update every couple weeks, going a week or 2 without schedule 1 is not the end of the world

The difference on GPU usage on my 3090 between Ultra and High settings has drastically changed since last update.

Running at 4K with all graphical options on and maxed and my GPU is hitting 98%. When I changed the graphical setting down to High, the GPU usage drops to about 35%.

From the title screen, the main effects that appear to be adjusted between the two settings, are shadows and lighting.

4k ultra on a 4070ti: https://www.youtube.com/live/pUWB5TGdUNw
I am not seeing any difference from prior to patch, whether it be at 4k ultra or my normal settings. How about you resolve the problems with your computer before pretending you know what Tyler needs to do ?
Welcome to the world of not having a CPU bottleneck!

With the Nvidia overlay you can set performance maximums, like max power draw or max temperature. Which will help with high temps and loud fans. The more advanced way to help is to undervolt your card so it draws less power for the same performance (which likely means it will just give you more frames since it now has more performance headroom

You can also set a cap on framerate

also "my gpu is running at a whopping 75C! OMERGERDLES"
GPU: Probably rated to run fine up to 90C :P
I mean i i have a Geforce RTX 4060 and it doesn't give me any problems performance wise and my settings are Vsync off, High quality and exclusive full screen. My temp is idling at 53 Celsius. I mean this game has alot of weird stuff that can happen, but it is a early access game, you have to give him a chance to fix any kind of bugs that are there. i am very excited to see what this game brings. Just adjust the settings that to what your set up can handle.
