Improved Negotiations
Right now, when we offer a price to customers, we only get a simple pass or fail response. I think this system could really benefit from a rework.

One idea—though I’m sure others will have great suggestions too—is to add more nuanced feedback based on how close your offer is to the maximum acceptable deal. For example:

“What a great deal! Of course.” – This would hint that you could raise your prices a bit next time.

“You drive a hard bargain, but fine.” – This could suggest you did pretty well, but didn’t leave much on the table.

You could have multiple tiers of responses like this. It would keep some mystery and challenge in the system, but still give you useful feedback to help refine your pricing strategies.

As it stands, so much of the negotiation system is hidden that it feels like you’re flying blind—unless you’re constantly checking the wiki or using mods that assist with pricing.

I’d love to hear what others think, too. It’s a system we interact with a lot, and I believe there’s real potential to make it more engaging and fun.

It does not make much sense to me. It would benefit the player. However most drug addicts would not tell you if they got a good deal, they would make you think that they did not get a good deal. Good idea, just does not make much sense to me. A lot of stuff in this game does not make sense though, so it would fit.

I think its a system worth finding a way to be entertaining. You could also get some inclination in real life. Like imagine that you went just beyond someones price limit. They might say, "can you come down just a little on that price" or "Maybe next time, ill get something if the price is a little lower." Or if you were just asking way too much then they would say "No way! Thats insane!"
