Good game good dev, bad decisions.
Let me start by saying the game is great and I've enjoyed every hour I've played. However currently it is a 15-25h max game until you max out everything and there's nothing else to do or enjoy. This can obviously be sad about almost any indie game at release but we've received 2 updates and they are very insignificant and took a while to get, in my opinion the developer needs to switch focus from general additions I.E furniture and focus on bigger mechanics like the spoken of raids/cartel interactions. this would significantly change the game play and add some challenge to the game. this followed by the addition of rival gangs/difficulty slider effecting how many rival gang members and how many customers are already taken up. its a lot of fun but i have literally 0 reason to play it again I made almost a mil and now without a higher difficulty its j the same thing again.

obviously playing with friends significantly extends the shelf life of this game but eventually it'll be the same story.

just wait and come back later? or mod the game, try some challenge modes. Like RV only or idk. I know the modding community has already made some cool stuff.

you cant say come back later, when the game has been out for over a month and has received 0 significant changes yeah i could download sketchy mods and play modded but that's not what i'm looking for and unless there's a secret way "challenge modes" aren't available by default??
also fairly sure my post is fully constructive adding furniture isnt going to attract anyone or keep anyone around adding ways to make the game harder and extend play time will, we need new content not new furniture.

That's a lot of words to simply say you are crying over the fact that 1 person, while in university, can't put out updates fast enough to satisfy your instant gratification that was programmed into your brain by the slop that is the video game industry.

Getting a new property is kind of a big deal, it's really useful.

i mean kind of? theres no reason to make a ton of money in the game once you have all the normal properties you should be bringing in more than enough to buy everything in the game within a week or 2

I moved on, actually, because i finished the content a month ago. You know why? Because I do not feel the need to cry on steam forums about a lack of content coming from a university student all so it can fire some neurons. Go play your H game bud, it might give you more enjoyment for 5 minutes. Clear your head and come back with a civil mindset.

complain about the quality of content*** idc that hes dropped 2 updates i care that the updates have been pointless mostly and yeah i quit a month ago too last played day was april 11th but its a fun game and id like to get back into if the dev finds offense from someone wanting them to add features that would bring back old players and new players instead of furniture hope it offends him dearly LMFAO

Didn't realize how much constructively criticizing the development on the day it dropped an update would cause so much cope and crying from the community
