I Can't Start The Game :(

I recently bought the game and I tried to open it... unsuccesfully. The music of the menu starts and I can visualize the warning/edisclaimer and that's it. I get stuck on a black screen, with the 'dont do drugs' thing and the background music, without being able to visualize or interact with anything.
I tried to start the alternate version, I tried to run it in admin mode and such... but without success.
Am I the only one encountering this issue?
Does anybody know what else I can try?
