The difference that multiplayer makes on this game is unreal.
I have always played multiplayer. I would do all the growing, mixing, etc. And they would run around selling everything. Progression was smooth and well-paced. But I started a solo world recently, and hot damn does progression and money making slow down to a snail crawl. At least at the beginning before you get 3+ dealers and a bunch of workers. Now I see why everyone is constantly spamming the forums for people to play with.

Just an observation. Doesn't really matter to me, since I have friends... but it is interesting to note for anyone looking to pick up the game. It is much much "smoother" in co-op.

it can take less than a week to get dealers employees and the bungalow to help with production, i don't find the game particularly slow at all. comparatively, i can see it.

It went pretty fast for me. All you have to do is max out the available time by using the night to the fullest. The clock stops at 4 AM, but you can still plant, water, harvest, mix, package, smash up ATMs with the baseball bat and, if you wanna stoop that low, collect trash.
