Trash worker
Anyone else having trash workers not work? I have fired and rehired a new one and they only work for one day? they are paid and nothing is in there way to work

Yea i have had the same issue, I've assigned trash cans and even given trash bags to them, But it still doesn't work.

OP, did you assign trash cans to them? If so, did you pay attention to the radius shown in green? They will ignore anything outside of it. Then of course, you have to assign a bed and put cash in their briefcase.
Yep. they have always worked but the past few days they wont do anything just stand outside

Largely gave up on them. At the barn I still have one to take care of the worst, but at the warehouse where I have my bed, I just do it myself before going to bed.
I have this issue too, sometimes they work for a little longer when I unassigned and reassign the cans to him, but make sure you exit off the clip board between each one, he worked for another day

I had this happen today to me, tried a few things that didn't work but ultimately save quitting and reloading fixed him. For now at least.
I knocked mine out and fired him the next day.

I had the same issue today. Re-hiring didn't work. What did up ending working is putting his assigned trashcans into my inventory, putting them back and then re-assigning them.
I've noticed that they will sometimes "lose track" of trash that is on the ground when the 4am cutoff hits, and won't go back to pick it up the next day. Though I've never seen them ignore new trash generated on a "paid" working day in their assigned areas. Guess I've been lucky that way.

Might try picking up a few of the pieces by hand and pitching them back onto the floor in their area- that usually gets them "unstuck" from the 4am bug I mentioned so it might help here as well, so it's worth a try.
