Backup steam save file issue

So today I tried playing schedule one, and it said it had in issue with the Steam backup, so I decided to click on I'm pretty sure the back up file. But when I got back on, over 4+ hours of game play had been deleted. If anyone knows how to change my backup from my cloud to my computer, please help because I lost so much. I will also try a manual back up file this time.
