Make The New Storage Unit 2 Workers
I appreciate the new property but as it is it's barely a step up from the sweatshop, sure there's more room and you can get deliveries but the bungalow is just $1000 more for 5 potential workers. It can't be automated and if you want it in your production you'll have to sit there and babysit it throughout the day packaging like the sweat shop, having 2 workers would let you have a handler there too to package product making it much easier for the player to manage each day.

The big bonus from Sweatshop to Bungalow is the space allowed. You can do a lot more there than in the sweatshop

Properties aren't supposed to replace each other, when you buy a property, it's "I'm buying more floorspace", they don't have to be "a step up", otherwise you'll similarily be disappointed by the docks. :P
Bungalow is better, yes, sweatshop also is, arguably (no loading dock hurts), but having bungalow + sweatshop + storage unit is the best. :P

Funny enough is that you can use the businesses as additional floorspace as well, so while you can't hire employees to manage those locations, you can still use them to grow additional plants.
I plan on using the handler on that location to future proof police raids, That location will do no cooking or anything. It's sole purpose will be for storage of mixer, seeds, misc items, product. In the event an actual property that will have some heat gets taken down. I have tons of emergency supplies and product to keep up on a "dead" location that should generate 0 heat

What's the point? Every other lot other than the sweatshop has loading bays itself where you can just buy supplies and have it delivered there again if it gets raided.

I didn't say they were supposed to replace each other, I'm saying it's a pain to use the sweatshop and storage lot because you have to be there to package supplies if you want to use them to produce anything, I understand the sweatshop being 1 employee because it's small time but considering the storage lot is just 1k cheaper than the bungalow it should have at least 2 employees to be able to automate it.

The new storage lot has a lot more space than the sweatshop for you to do more in but you'll be doing the majority yourself since it only allows one employee.
Easiest solution until potential changes are made... Turn the sweatshop into a meth lab so all you have to do is stock shelves/stations and pick up product. Zero cleanup needed. Then put that product on the packing shelf of the next property or integrate it into the mixing stations. Or just jar it as is for dealers to distribute. Takes a couple days before having to restock the meth setup there so there's no urgency to it.
any word on when this update will launch?

Just and absolute yawn of an update.

Since they're slow to mature their growth is frequently halted by a lack of water when you're busy not babysitting your coca plants. Still, it's all helps in the end.
