Selling Jars?
I packed up a bunch of my best strain of marijuana into jars, because I figured, "Hey, these hold 5, I'll make a ton more this way and save space in my inventory." But nobody is ordering 5, or a jar's worth. They are still ordering just 1 or 2 at a time.

Is anyone else running into this issue?

hmm you can upsell them to 5 tho :P
You will eventually get customers that will ask for jars/bricks tho. People like Geraldine and Jessi are pretty close to that straight from the opening.

jars are primarily meant for sellers distributors, who will automatically pack them into baggies with no extra cost to you (if i understand correctly). to sell jars, you can either offer a deal (walk up to someone and sell rather than them texting you) or upselling.

Just use baggies for personal sales. It's too restricting being forced to sell in multiples of 5 only. Jars are great for dealers, though.

I suggest you use both, if someone wants 12 units, you give two jars, two baggies.
And yes, dealers will break down jars and bricks, but you need to leave them empty spaces in their inventory for them to do so.

i've found that if you have high quality weed, you can sell 1-5 jars to people while upcharging. i regularly upcharge heavenly aspen death (grandaddy purple + horse semen), $100-200.

qty requested opens up as their purse size increases vs the products value you're selling, so cheaper product = more qty requested.

I've had the same 2mix kush product from Hoodlum-3 to Enforcer-1, listed at 102ea, and the only people who could go to 4+ were big pocket ppl after peddler-4, I'll be switching to 2/3mix coca for a listed ~375/455ea product and the qty requested may go back down to 1s only.

I think people who make plain base product and sell in bulk mess with jars, I know I haven't touched one yet

No, this is wrong. They have a larger hidden inventory for breaking down bricks and jars.

You do not need to leave them space.

Counter offer and see who is willing to buy in 5s. I make a point to only sell by the jar, the bags take up way too much space. Experimental and small batch I do baggies but anything in large quantity is jar only.

I usually make counter offers for 5 (and increase price by 100 for each extra). Usually they will agree to it and the ones who don't go to a dealer lol. I have 3 dealers and they all have 6 customers each. The strain I sell is 100% addictive (both meth and weed). I also do late night deals so most times each person is about $500-$1000 per deal. Idk if this is optimal but its how I do it and works for me. Ive noticed people are more willing to buy the weed vs the meth, but Jessi and Geraldine will be cool with meth.

No idea what the formula is or when most people will accept counter offers for 5, but I still havent unlocked coke so theres that.

Holy hell this needs to be explained better within the game, that's awesome.

I don't go out at night, unless I'm running from the motel room to the sweatshop really quick. I'm too paranoid to go out lol.
Something to note. Every buyer has a different wallet. I know Jessi Winters and Geraldine Poon will buy more than other people. So you can upsell them to 5. but I usually just give the one extra to people who order four. It provides a generosity bonus so you do get some money back plus its easier when you start actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out product.

I stopped doing sales via the app once I got my first dealer, so I can't really say anything about how much people order. But I do opportunity sales by just chatting up random people I pass on the street (OP did you know that's possible?), and they happily accept one or even two jars at a time. Hell, I've even sold a jar of cocaine once.

I just give them extra, it's an impromptu special for the customer.
You should always upsell however how much you can depends on price per unit so you will need to experiment to see how much you get away with upselling.

Don't fall into the trap of only upselling to 5 just because it's convenient as you leave money on the table. You should upsell as much as you can and use baggies to make up the number if it isn't a multiple of 5.

Why do people keep saying that you need to leave them empty spaces? You don't need to leave them empty spaces. I've been handing my dealers bricks for a while now and they're breaking them down even when I don't leave a space.
