Demo to full game

I just finished the free sample of schedule 1 and I just bought the full version and it will only let me start over from scratch. I cant load the game I was playing before which is what I usually do when I end up buying a game from a demo thanks to the cloud. I was looking for the small print or even if this was in the discussion forums already to see if this was a bug but I cant seem to find anything on this issue. I really don't want to start all over. Am I missing something or do I have to start over after purchase?
