PSA: Turn VSync off
edit: Turn VSync off IF you are at or above the FPS cap for your monitor. If you have a 144Hz monitor and reach a stable 144 FPS without VSync, don't keep VSync on.

Maybe people already do this. I don't need to for the majority of the games I play, I don't really notice a difference (now I'll start trying though).

VSync seems to be causing a memory leak, or at least has the symptoms of a memory leak, causing a gradual frame drop, rubber banding behavior, and (maybe; I didn't test this enough to know for sure) customers asking for a large amount of product at a low value (for example: Geraldine asking for x155 bud for $455 when individual baggies priced at ~$40).

The example with Geraldine can also be their addiction stat! The more addicted people get, the more they order, and Geraldine's a known NPC to request big orders when you get that stat up.
Edit: also, counteroffer them if you think the payment's "too low" for what's being asked...

That's fair, but something I didn't mention is that it affected all NPCs -- I had four people ask for >x100 product within a minute. I don't think my addiction statistic is very high for anyone either, but that is good to know.

Just checked, Geraldine is at 64% addiction several in-game days after I turned off VSync and closed/restarted Schedule I, so I don't think it was that large of a factor in my experience.
(edited for grammar)
