Multiplayer issue with employees, contacts and dealers

Hello since last patch when I play coop with my friend who is the host I cannot control employees with the notepad it says 0 bed assigned 0 stations etc. But the employees are still working. Also I do not see the wallets on their beds. I have also lost all the customer connections and even the dealer connections so I cannot even collect the money / give them drugs to sell.

I have tried verifying game integrity. What is the fix for this?
