Multiplayer unstable

My friend and I have been playing together for a while, but since the last update, it seems like something has gone wrong with multiplayer synchronization. We haven’t changed anything on our end, but we keep experiencing disconnections. When a player gets disconnected, they lose their entire inventory. This makes it impossible for us to keep playing without risking progress loss, which really takes the fun out of the game.

I bump this cuz I'm getting the same thing. I've looked into it and the best I've gotten is maybe it's a steam cloud save issue? Either way the game is super chill to play but ya, losing 3k and like x60 products miltuple times cuz the game hiccuped is a huge buzz kill. Hopefully we get some simple hot fix or something
