Dreaded Multiplayer Bug!!!

So A friend and I have played through the map twice in an attempt to make it all the way to the end game, but the first map somehow became corrupted on us and we decided to start a new. Well, now the second map has also broken on us. The issue is a well known bug that has been around for some time, judging from reading old forum posts complaining about either not being able to join their friends or issues when they do, like not being able to interact with dealers, customers, etc. I am curious if anyone has ever found a working solution to this bug that resolves the issue 100%. I have tried everything. If you can't rejoin a server, all you have to do is restart the game after your friend starts the map basically. Is weird, but something about that second attempt to rejoin the map allows you in, but likely if this is the only way in you're gonna find equipment glitched outside and all sorts of sillyness.

we have the same issue, these major problems should be worked on before new features
