Lowbie Steam Accounts asking "Play with me" is likely a scam

Just saying, there's a bunch of these suddenly and its very sus how similar they all are.
Calling it now, there's a few scams on Steam and this is probably a new one.
Oh and if you think I'm being silly or paranoid, please say so and feel free to engage with these folk
EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm not saying ALL are. There's some legitimate ones but anything under Steam Level 15 or so, SUS AF

What do you think the "scam" is here? What are they "scamming?"

Except that steam level only matters if you care about the steam trading card system. I couldn't care less. Steam level does not matter.

thats what im saying too. ive had this account for probably 10 years. but i dont game much on steam so my level is like 8 or 9.

I exclusively play on steam. I have been for years. I get rid of the trading cards whenever I notice I have them. Whether or not someone wants to collect trading cards or badges connected to trading cards has nothing to do with if a person is a scammer or not.
