If you constantly frequent the bungalow, it wouldn't hurt to have storage setup nearby related to the items from the gas station.
If you constantly frequent fat dragon, you store dan's items, etc etc.
You can also use your money laundering locations as storage as well, or anything else with the limited amount of space that you're given in those areas.
The main purpose at the end of the day is to have 1 of 2 things.
1. Storage
2. Organization
If you have a setup that doesn't require multiple buildings to do that, then you should be fine.
Personally I use any location that I no longer frequent as a stockpile for excess product that I can give off later whenever I run out of a current batch of items.
You can easily get every customer with heavenly granddaddy purple (stock) weed, the bungalow is more than enough to produce a ton of bricks for it, both to breakdown/sell and to give to dealers, not to mention it grows faster than coca, tho not as pricey.
Bungalow caps out at five employees, and it's not very space efficient; you have a two rooms which are nice, but the kitchen has that waste-of-space fancy sink corner.
Barn is probably the best bang for your buck, but it's out of the way..... unless you have a skateboard, especially the golden one, which then you can reach the barn (from any part of town) in 50 seconds; Not all employee beds fit on the second floor, but it's more than enough to mass produce something, or produce a fair amount + mix.
The docks is the same, but you can fit all employee beds upstairs and still have an area to call your own, it's also closer to the main city; You can have 10 employees here, same with the barn.
Motel and sweatshop, I only use them for storage of excess product to up networth; Same with my businesses, I have a bunch of shelving; Motel is zero employees and sweatshop is one.. one is enough to produce base meth, if you don't mind babysitting him every 2 in-game days to restock.
Spend 1500, get golden skateboard; jumping on it is faster than the 40k car. stop running.
You can use this 1 employee as a packer, or an extra herbalist, but really it's just gonna lead to an extra stop and you going out of your way.
What I do is
Early game - use every space to build as much weed as you can and have one little mixer area, but don't go too crazy because you'll be in meth sooner than later.
Mid game - Use the 3 crappy buildings, automate bungalow as much as possible for meth. Use 1 herbalist in sweatshop for 8 weed plants, and use the motel for mixing/packing. Alternatively, you cook the meth and use bungalow for automated mixing (i do it this way because it's easy to keep meth ovens going and mixing yourself is a pain).
Late game -
- run 64-72 cocaine plants in farm. (8-9 herbalists).
- Put all the cauldron's/ovens in Bungalow
- Put an 8 mixer in Docks with a brick packager. (mostly because it's a better location than farm, closer to convenience and most of your deals).
That way you just restock farm, drive the leaves to bungalow, pick up the cocaine and head to your mixer docks and that's it for your drives for the day (except for mixing if you don't use delivery vans, I use exclusively delivery vans).
Lastly, you do a delivery 2x a day, once at night and once in the morning. 8x80 (split amongst 2 vans) to refill mixer shelves.
This is more product than your dealers can sell, and doesn't require any 4 am downtime.
Sweatshop it just sooo tiny. can barely get a botanist and 4 plants plus dryers.
Tip, get the golden skateboard ASAFP! Then get the van for 9,000 later on to move large volumes, though you need to avoid checkpoints.
so i only refill dealers as required, and only collect their cash on mondays, i also only pay staff wages for the entire week on mondays, and deposit 10K into ATM on mondays
then each second day i order 108coco seeds, and 36 soil to docks placing 6soil and 18seeds onto each of six input shelves. thats them running for two ingame days, as it produces enough to completely fill my veeper and all 8slots on my own inventory i move all that to barn and it starts drying
then i pick up the same amount of dried leafs, drive it over to bungalow for cooking, on the way launder my cash (gotta remember to keep doing this) then drive yesterdays stock to mings place and it gets packed
and to be honest im afking this game right now, loving it so chill
Yea I feel like endgame turns into a bit of an idler beyond the few in game hours in the morning. but I'm about it.
Took me also a while to realize this because for some obscure reason I didn't wanted to see it that way at first but mixing is completely irrelevant and only really helps you with making specific samples to get new customers faster (instead of trail and error-ing your way their contact info).
The "late"game is a lot more chill if you don't constantly have to reorder ingredients for a 5+ mixing setup. Especially when the amount of product doesn't really matter and only the price does.
Yes guys you use it all , but the best set up by far, is coco plants at the docs, weed at bungalow and mings if u dont mind cleaning up at mings or mod to get cleaner. More weed and meth set up at barn with mixing set up and bricking set up... dont waste time with drying set up get 2 drying racks and get the instant mod, or u will have no space left. Now here's the best part, buy 8 veepers fill them all with product, Won't take long if u have instant mod... Then park 6 of them close to dealers home, keep 2 spare at barn, easy to find untouched spots you can just leave ur veepers filled with product... Then when said dealer runs out of product you dont have to drive across city with product and worry about roadblocks.. you drive through roadblock with nothing on u if u want, which i never do anyway, i just skateboard there to said veeper then, take product from said veeper hand it to dealer... when veeper is empty i replace with spare veeper from barn which is ready and full and only drive them out in the morning when the cops are just getting set up ...
Something else i find hilarious, is watching all the youtubers place their shelves against the walls as if the handlers can't access them when they are stacked in rows.. saving space.. .guess they dont know.
Another thing i wanted to mention is that you can stack 9 beds upstairs and then just place 1 or 2 random beds downstairs in the barn. No spaces needed they dont sleep in them or even go to them to collect their pay... you can access the pay briefcases by jumping over beds.
If you are still at the stage where you are trying to get new customers... then you aren't at the point where mixing actually matters. Mixing is for profit maximiation. Unfortunately, there really is no need for profit maximization in the game yet, because there really is no endgame content to work towards.
