Are the products you gave him capable of being broken down? Jars and Bricks and be broken down into Bags and Jars respectively but they require an open space in order for that to happen.
Is your price too high?
Leave one empty slot in his inventory.

Why? If it's first buyer he won't be doing brick, if that's even the case.

I'm putting the minimum price on all of them.

Your game may be glitched, but go back and double check that you've indeed assigned his clients and that you're not using any tilde commands that may conflict with his process.

Indeed turns out my game WAS glitched... No matter what I did he never went out dealing

Had to start all over again and now it's all going fine, devs should be looking it that tbh.

do not give him bags, he cant sell those as easily. give him bricks or jars ONLY.

if using bricks you need 3 slots per product, and theres only 5 slots, which (realistically) limits you to 1 product per dealer. bricks are late game though when you give him a stack of 20 coke bricks.

Early game, if using jars, you need 2 slots per product, so you can get away with 2 products per dealer max.

Do not exceed 2 products per dealer, do not give them any packaging other than jars.

Remember, early game, two product stacks of 20x jars each MAX.

I was able to do four products per dealer, with jars and then bricks and even with just the one open slot to break things down, they still did what was expected of them and did deals with the customers assigned to them.
lol they literally dont need any open space. you can give them a full stack of different bricks in each inventory slot and theyll still break it down and sell it.

Weird but it could be possible if the dealer is doing counter offers to customers. The problem is you dont know what that actually costs, like maybe he's doing worse deals to be able to utilize that slot.

Dealers strictly use the price tag YOU set, meaning if you set the price tag too high, they won't make sales because nobody will buy.
Edit: and they WILL still be selling even if the product is marked "not for sale" if it's in their inventory they will sell it.

If folks are having mixed issues, then it may be a bug in the game. I had this happen on a new game. I thought something was wrong also, tried 1 slot, restarting, tried moving it around in slots, etc. but it also was happening with the other dealers. What happens is if you don't have the product for sale in your phone, they wont sell it now unlike before. I took a stack and put it up for sale at a reasonable price and then all the dealers started moving... I preferred the way of giving your trash weed to them and let them sell it all without putting it up for sale. They won't sell it if its in their inventory, at least on my game they aren't now.

Then that literally makes no sense, do they have invisible slots to break product into? What happens to unsold product? Do customers just take whatever the dealer gives them without question?

The coding of this game makes no sense.

they have one hand slot and six inventory slots from what i gather. if they are unable to unstack what is in their hand to their inventory they will cease to trade. empty their inventory completely and you should see a baggy of that product which does not stack
