Criticism
I love this game so far. I just have to say the Curfew seems silly. Since the curfew is only for the Player and not the other citizens. Cops are a little obnoxious right now at night since they will get pissed if you are even on your own porch

No. In fact they need to be made more active as currently they aren't a threat at all when doing late night work.
Nothing says you can't go out during curfew. The trick is not to get caught, or if you get spotted, learn how to run and hide. Jump into a bin is a good place. You can also make a mix of weed with energy drink and paracetamol and run and jump like a fairy on speed.

What we also don't know at this early stage is whether all NPC will also be subject to curfew and it is simply not added yet. Perhaps our dealers will get caught and lose their stash, who knows?
You could even go to war, buy a heater and get to blastin fools. There's only around 20-30 cops, once you knock them out for the day they are, indeed, out for the day. Curfew means nothing when you've got the entire police force snoring in the dumpster next to your property.

Nah.
I don't mind the curfew system. When you know the back roads, it's easy enough to avoid the cops.
It'd be better if they did cop things. When I started playing I obsessively closed the door to the motel because I didn't want cops seeing my grow tents.
Instead they'll walk right by them and see nothing, but if you're out after 6pm, then it's open season.

Hopefully as development progresses the curfew is scaled back to midnight and the cops do more cop related stuff, like raiding buildings. Raids could come with a 1 day warning by hiring either a criminal lawyer or paying off a cop. If you have cops paid off, throwing a tarp over things (Amount of pay = quantity of tarps available) will make them 'invisible' to police during a raid. Would make cleaners worth having too, as they'd be removing evidence which serves no purpose other than to slow your PC down currently.

Its less the curfew difficulty and more it breaks immersion when cops are enforcing a curfew ONLY for you. Other NPC's walk right by cops

Which most likely will change, as I said. Game is incomplete.

I'm in agreement with this. Needs to be more cops out after dark, and they need to be more active.

Also agree that the curfew should count for NPCs too, and not just the player. I'm not sure if it's really possible, though. It would mean having to make an AI for NPCs that is smart enough to try and be sneaky and avoid police after dark.

They sometimes have trouble now as it is.
Just hide on building roofs, go up the parking building cos for some reason the cops are too scared to run up the ramp.

Should be able to hide from them if you consume some product that balds, changes gender, skin color...but I don't think it works

I feel like it should. Idk

I agree. They are easily beatable solo with a baseball bat. Although idk if I want them to be more challenging.. but to have more quantity and maybe more active roaming during the night.

When a police car arrives, there should be at least 2 cops there, not 1. When a police VAN comes, there should be 3+ cops... NOT 1 every time LOL

It's a neat idea though. Using the drug effects to change your appearance to avoid attention. Likely never happen. But if there's ever story beats where ya have to play as Uncle Nelson or someone with a fixed appearance instead of the player's customization at work, would love to see it.

even if there was 420 cops after you, they're still extremely easy to outrun, and I think that's by design
curfew is perfect like it is, you trade a little more risk for a little more profit when dealing at night, if they removed curfew, curfew bonus would go too, I'd make less money.

I agree with everyone regarding:
1. Lack of curfew inspection (No inspecting in the Docks, Up Town and Suburbia)
2. Not that difficult after 100+ days (it should ramp up difficulty/tenacity every 50 days)
3. NPC dealers/citizens can still roam outside during curfew and not get cuffed.

Let's wait for the coming months, excited for May and June updates.

Yea it’s their presence that’s the problem but I like curfew. Presence should be more rng. At the bungalow you have straight shot always to warehouse without issue through the fence.

Tyler could really go deep with it also. For example you could buy a police scanner and dealers can only deal after curfew by txn you and saying ‘I have deal to make, which route should I take’, you pull out scanner and draw them a path.

If you don't want a police presence during curfew, park a Veeper van in front of the police stairs and they cannot get to their assigned posts. Just watch for the random police car that spawns anyways.
