if you save and leave the game and come back, you lose ALL progress pre-save in form of EXP...
anyone noticed this? If you, for example, save at night (but don't rest) after making a huge amount of sales and close the game and you do something else (because... maybe Oblivion Remastered released?), then come back later and continue the game and sleep, you'll get 0 EXP for that day. Meaning... The game loses track of the amount of experience gain you got pre-save if you exit the game.

This means that, at my point in game where I have 4 chemists, I'm UNABLE to just save / restart the game to fix their AI too WITHOUT losing ALL my experience I made of that day of my dealings!

So either I let the AI remain to stay stuck and have no product, but I'll atleast have Experience... or I restart the game, but lose ALL EXP pre-save.

You only lose the tally, the xp is always accrued on the spot ^^
this is why sometimes you'll be able to buy things and then it gives you the unlock prompt when you go to bed.

I see my exp bar not moving an inch when I sleep for the next day. My experience bar remains the same when I sleep if I closed the game prior.

You haven't lost any exp, the exp is acquired on the spot, something like 20xp when you do a deal, 10x when a dealer does a deal, etc...

What resets when you log off is the data of the report you get at the end of the day. Am not sure how to explain this to you, but you haven't lost xp.

Imagine in real life, you're keeping a budget sheet with all your spending/income you've made in a week, and you lose that sheet. The things that you noted down on that sheet still happened, you just lost your record of it. This is what's happening. :P

I see... bit confusing, but I understand now. I guess the only fix I need now is how to not get one of my 4 chemists eventually stuck and having to restart the game every 5 minutes lol...
