Need more things to spend big money on...

After you buy all the properties and laundering businesses, there is not much left to spend money on. Many of us have hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars just sitting here. Sure, you can stock up on gold bars or bottles of champagne... but it would be nice to get some really expensive FUNCTIONAL things to work towards. Maybe for $100,000 you can reduce the time it takes for deliveries to arrive, maybe for $250,000 and you can bribe the police to ignore your illegal activities... or for $500,000 you can increase your employee cap in the barn and docks. Maybe we can get a more fleshed out furniture store with expensive pool tables, couches, TVs, etc...

I just want a reason to keep grinding money. Right now, I am struggling to be motivated to sell.

Just have to be patient for more content. Bear in mind the game is just in Early Access, and only about 1/3 of the way through what the creator has in mind, based on the version still being in the 0.3 series ;)

you could go to all the stores and buy everything. clothes, lamps, all the cars. lots to spend on.

Yep. Unfortunately, any open sim game like this will hit a point where there's "nothing more to do," unless it's set up to end the gameplay completely when you complete whatever campaign story it has.

Hopefully by the time it's made it to full 1.0 release, there'll be enough total content that hitting that overload point takes a lot more playtime to reach.
