The ones that hack me off are the ones who love to make their curfew-hours meetings up against the North wall of the barbershop (one night three of them all went for that one)... right in full view of the pair of cops who stand at Taco Tickler's shining their lights at that very wall all FARKING NIGHT!!!
Thank Bog the blue buggers are pathetically easy to bait down the warehouse trench and circle past to get at least one sale done before they catch up.
You can also hide behind the trees and break line of sight from the cops there. It feels sketchy getting into place because of the siren, but its pretty easy to break line of sight and complete your deals there without have to take the cops for a chase.
Might test it again later though. I'll be dealing there anyway since the cloud just completely buggered my save- apparently the cloud sync doesn't play well with playing on two different machines and the differences get intermingled instead of properly swapped out. So starting fresh and syncing the old-fashioned way. ;)
Oh do i have a treat for you! Cops ai in this game is a joke. They actually only detect you if you are looking in their direction, or walk into their light.
So what you can do is LITERALLY walk backwards from the laundry to the barbershop hugging the wall and they wont even bother you! Its so bad that you can even drive behind them if you go between the pole and taco ticklers, as long as you dont look at them! Their blind AND deaf! Who knew moonwalking was so useful!
If you could decide on meeting locations, what would stop you from having everyone meet at a single location and dealing to the entire town at once? Even if you reduced it to one meet up spot per district it would still seem way to exploitative. Im ok with the system as it is and i dont expect its going to change.
I suppose for now it WOULD make it easier for players to try out everything else though ;)
You can just crawl in the bushes and have it 10 times easier right now.
I did manage a deal on that spot when I played yesterday evening without so much hassle though, so perhaps I was previously just hitting one of the random "come and go" sort of glitches that make troubleshooting a royal PITA sometimes, or maybe the last patch tweaked something.
Either way, flatfoots haven't caught me yet! :)
Granted that it's not a huge amount of time difference, but a minute here and a minute there can add up to a lot over the course of a playthrough. Not game-changing maybe, but it'd be a nice QoL touch for when the bug-hunting slows down.
you can set this up yourself, unlock all dealers and customers. keep the uptown to yourself assign all others to dealers. even if it means the dealer has to walk sorry jane and wei.. you cant assign them all. there are 2 ive got in the 5th area thats not too far from the uptown area.
ok not a help for op but all deals are done in same local area. no running from a to b.
