How tame are the depictions of police brutality in this game?

As an empathetic ally of marginalized communities, I suffer severe second-hand Post Traumatic stress whenever I think about what painful memories my fellow kindred must endure when they experience institutionalized discrimination being carried out by law enforcement agents in any video game.

I have noticed that protagonist on the cover art of this game is depicted as a racial minority. I do not wish to edit my starting character even if that were possible, as it would signify erasing the existence of people that are not part of the mainstream demographic and denying their lived experiences.

Instead I'd like to experience this game as a member of a marginalized community and empathize with their struggle against an ever increasingly more adverse system that is out to get them.
As mentioned earlier, any instances of police profiling cause me serious anxiety and post-traumatic stress, so before I buy this game I'd like to get a sense of how are interactions with the morally corrupt system of 21st century America depicted in this game.

Would you recommend this game to someone engaged in my current struggles?

No cops are pretty cool in this game. I mean they might taze you or beat you but in the end they take your drugs and slap you with a fine. No prison, no extensive beatings and if you kill them nobody comes after you.
