Cleaner not cleaning
Hey, I wonder if this is a bug. My cleaner stopped cleaning. I have him assigned to 3 trash cans that cover the work area. I end up having to clean up the area all the time. I have him equipped with trash bags and a trash grabber thing.

But he just sits and stands and stares at the dumpster the whole day. Has anyone else encountered this bug and do you have any advice in how to fix it?

they "buy" their own trash bags. and they have a pick up prongs. check he/she/? assigned to bins etc. had one of my botanist "forget" 4 drying racks he was assigned to.

sometimes workers bug out i live with it till 4am resupply all my stuff sleep. then quit the game relaunch. most of the time it solves stuck workers.

Yeah he is assigned to the 3. He was cleaning and completely stopped. I'm going to maybe buy a new property and just assign a new crew there. Maybe I'll tear down the old place and see if I can get it working again. There are other weird things with the place - The botanist doesn't plant the seeds I have assigned though I have plenty. Maybe they just need a reset.

sorry i edited my reply. try and solve stuff before moving on if you can. makes things easier in long run. your using multiple seeds, good luck with that. 1 grow at a time.:)` if you got a big brain like tyler go for it.

Yeah maybe that is not a bad idea. I'll try to pause all operations and reassign them. I think I'll also try to save and quit and relaunch. Hopefully that fixes it.

Thank you for the offer. I rather not because if it is not bugged then I will have to learn the mechanics to do it correctly. If it is bugged, then the help won't matter.

Check their inventory. Many times I've found it's a full picker stuck in the inventory. Pull it out and they're replace it and carry on, at least in my experience.

most worker bugs have been fixed i have 8 step mix fully auto docks and barn i just pay them from cooking to mixing to packing they do it all seamlessly. may just be how they are assigned fire them hire a new one i had a botanist just grab infinite supply but never do anything with it and getting a new employee fixed it try that before moving your whole setup around almost got 10mil steam achievement with these setups

this the only game i play on here or super market sim 200 hours on schedule tho

there is a 4th supplier he looks like a ghost ive found where the afk suppliers hang out on map last white house on the right heading up to the manner go behind the house all suppliers are just standing there and a mystery supplier or its Tyler watching us...

Thank you for your advice. I did check. Interestingly to me, I noticed if I take away the picker from the cleaner, he spawns a new one in his inventory.

Yeah if my attempts at fixing the problem don't work, I'll try firing and hiring a new person.

Thank you for your advice. I'm not worried about help. I just want to learn how to do it myself before I jump in multiplayer with anyone else.

I found a fix. At the end of the night. I unassigned all workers - botanist, packer, and cleaner from the stations. I picked up all pots, light hangers, and lights, as well as trash cans. Anything that was on the ground was picked up and placed again.

After that, I reassigned all workers. In the morning, the cleaner just started picking up random invisible trash off the ground that was not even there and filling up the garbage cans and bagging the trash. Then he threw the garbage bags in the dumpster. He is at around 10-12 bags now and it is not even at the end of the day.

And as a plus, the botanist is now planting the seeds I have directed him. Another plus is the game is running so much smoother now without frame loss. Before this cleaner fix, I would have massive frame rate drop when I went to the bungalow. Now I guess the game is running smoother because all the invisible garbage is now picked up.

Worker will oftentimes just bug out even if your setup is good. When it happens, punch them to sleep, save, and reload. It usually helps most of the times
