How do you pickpocket?

Dumb af I'm sure, but how do you do it? Can't figure it out. Gotta be unlocked later in game or something, or am I once again blind/daft? lol

same way you pickpocket in any first-person video game. Crouch and press the interact button while behind the NPC. It's unexplained in-game because it's such a common mechanic that anyone who plays video games should instinctively understand how to do it.

Remember, "Some" substances in game can increase the size of the pickpocket success zones if you smoke it yourself using M1 on a single bud.

I did that lol. That's why I was confused thinking I did something wrong. Didnt work so thought ♥♥♥♥ it bat upside head THEN pickpocket. Nope. Might have just been a glitch then, or maybe some npcs or products can't be pickpocketed.

Either way thanks for the help all who helped clarify. If it doesnt work i'll do aa new save file and give it a go there.
