I tried the "save & reset" trick that others here have suggested to try and jump start him selling but it didn't seem to work. It did get him out of his tent and moving, but that's just about it. I actually watched him on the map app criss-cross the entire downtown on foot and not take home one measly dollar. Not cool.
At least he wasn't using the product I gave him.
Yep, saving & quitting definitely gets Brad out of his tent and walking around at least. Problem is, he'll walk around all day and make maybe $600-$800, or sometimes nothing at all, while Benji and Molly walk like 20 ft from their apartments and make $$$ almost instantly.. It doesn't matter what customers I assign to Brad, where they're located, or how good or bad the quality of the junk I give him is.
He's either bugged or intended by the dev to be the town hobo.
A lot of the customers there don't seem to be big or frequent buyers. There's like maybe four that tend to buy every day and two of those I handle myself since they're also like the only two big buyers in the area.
The rest all buy like 2 or 3 times a week at best, it seems. And only 2 or 3 units of a product that costs only like $88, so they're not huge spenders.
They also seem to mainly place small orders, but can be extorted for so much more, which has made downtown my most profitable customers. However, this might also be the reason why Brad rarely make much money. As the dealer AI can't bargain in the same way the player does.
To be honest I wouldn't mind if every district worked this way. It made for a much more immersive and fun gameplay experience in my opinion.
Maybe he is an undercover cop?
